Single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine is favored by the majority of users because of its light weight, small volume, simple structure and convenient maintenance, and is widely used in supporting power of small agricultural machinery. However, compared with the water-cooled diesel engine, it is particularly "delicate" and has high failure frequency and low reliability if used improperly.
(1) the structure difference between single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine and water-cooled diesel engine, single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine and water-cooled diesel engine in terms of their structure and principle, the distribution mechanism, crank connecting rod mechanism, fuel supply system and intake and exhaust system are similar, mainly the following two systems are different:
①The cooling mode of the cooling system is different.
Water-cooled diesel engine is the use of circulating water to take away the heat of the diesel engine, to achieve the purpose of heat dissipation, and air-cooled diesel engine is by the fan blown out of the strong airflow along the heat sink rapid flow, so as to reduce the body high temperature, its cylinder and cylinder head cast a lot of aluminum alloy heat sink.
②The lubrication mode of the lubrication system is different.
Water-cooled diesel engines use comprehensive lubrication, that is, pressure lubrication and non-pressure lubrication, organic oil pumps, and single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engines mostly do not use non-pressure lubrication.
(2) Matters needing attention in the use of single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine. Because the cooling and lubrication modes of single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine and water-cooled diesel engine are different, the cooling, lubrication and cooling effects are poor. Therefore, it must be used strictly in accordance with the operating procedures.
